Photography started for me as a little boy learning on my dad’s Pentax Asahi camera. Straight from the 70’s this old faithful metal clunker took accompanied me through high school and I ended up winning the photography prize in my 7th form year at Wanganui Collegiate.

I went on to study and graduated with a degree in Performing & Screen Arts majoring in Directing and Camera. The skills acquired working as a Videographer and Director in film and television have lent themselves perfectly to still photography.

I’ve come from a moving image (feature films & TV) background and also share a huge love for cinematography. Which in turn I have been known for for cinematic style & lighting in shooting weddings; my work have been posterized ~ and what a way to immortalize your day than capturing it in style!
